29 CFR 1910.332(b)(1): Employees were not trained in and familiar with the safety-related work practices required by 1910.331 through 1910.335 that pertained to their respective job assignments: a) On or about 04/11/2013 in the maintenance department; where maintenance employees including, but not limited to electricians and HVAC technicians have not been completely trained in electrical safety related work practices and the personal protective equipment provided by the employer. The employer has performed an arc flash study and purchased electrical PPE for exposed/potentially exposed employees such as electricians and HVAC technicians; however, the employer has not completely trained all electricians and HVAC technicians regarding all the specifics of incident energy related to arc flash, the arc flash survey results and the necessary and appropriate PPE for various conditions. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
