29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vi): Each employee performing overhand bricklaying operations from a supported scaffold was not protected from falling from all open sides and ends of the scaffold (except at the side next to the wall being laid) by the use of a personal fall arrest system or guardrail system (with minimum 200 pound toprail capacity): (a) 114 CHAMBERSBURG STREET, GETTYSBURG PA, FRONT OF BUILDING - The employer did not ensure that employees were protected from falling from scaffolding that was being used near the third floor of the structure, thereby exposing employees to a fall of approximately twenty-two (22) to twenty-five (25) feet, on or about April 4, 2013. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
