OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) On or about April 2, 2013, and times prior thereto, at the Highway 84/SR 82 jobsite in Valdosta, GA, the employer failed to ensure that 3/8 in. wide smooth-dowel steel poles based in concrete wash were protected, exposing employees to hazards not limited to broken and bruised ribs, internal injuries. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED.
