29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about 4/5/13, at the Buford job site, employees were exposed to fall hazards ranging from 10-18' as they worked on roofs ranging in slope (between 5 to 8 in 12) and were not using fall protection as they worked from those levels. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
