29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:     a) Construction Maintenance Shed/Maintenance Shed/Mechanics Shop - On 4/4/13 and at times prior thereto, it was noted that the employer did not develop a written Hazard Communication Program for employees who were exposed to the hazards of flammable and combustible chemicals such as, but not limited to, spray paints, acetone, diesel fuel, and welding gases.

The employees have not received the training required by this section.

Construction Maintenance Shed - On 4/4/13  and at times thereto, a female plug cord was pulled from it's fittings and the live inner conductors were exposed.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8):The employer did not maintain copies of the required material safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical in the workplace:   a) Construction Maintenance Shed/Maintenance Shed/Mechanics Shop - On 4/4/13 and at times prior thereto, the employer did not maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS's) for chemical products currently being used in the workplace.   Employees use flammable products such as Acetone, Rust-oleum spray paints,  Sheetrock joint compound, Johnson's brake cleaner, and  NAPA brake fluid, thereby exposing employees to the hazards listed on the MSDS's.
