29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(iii): The employer did not identify and evaluate the respiratory hazard(s) in the workplace; including a reasonable estimate of employee exposures to respiratory hazards and identification of the contaminants chemical state and physical form. (The requirements of 29 CFR 1910.134 are applicable to construction per 29 CFR 1926.103) Farmland Foods, 200 So. 2nd St. Lincoln, NE - On or about April 5-6, 2013 - Work areas: Coolers 5 & 6 & Blast area #2 -The employer did not identify through the use of appropriate monitoring equipment the respiratory hazards present in the work area. Contracted workers in Cooler 5, Blast area 2 and the tunnel were exposed to high levels of carbon monoxide from gas/diesel equipment operating in enclosed areas. The employer was present at the work site multiple times on April 6, 2013 during the exposure incident.
