29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: The employer does not protect employees, engaged in roofing activities on low-sloped roofs with unprotected sides or edges, from falling more than 6-feet to the low levels. This violation occurred on April 9, 2013, and on April 11, 2013, at a workplace located at the Dallas Convention Center; where employees working on a roof canopy were not protected from falling approximately 65-feet to the lower level. NATIONAL SINGLE PLY, INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(10), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 313785271, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER 001, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON 08/22/2012, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 2111 E. WOOSTER STREET, BOWLING GREEN, OH 43402.
