29 CFR 1910.24(h): Standard railings were not provided on the open sides of all exposed stairways and stair platforms:  (a)  for the ixed stairs going to the walkway platform that were missing mid rails located at 43700 Bermont Road in Punta Gorda (FL). Employees were using the stairs to access the walkway platform to get to the control panel to start and stop the potato production line, on or about April 11, 2013.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:     (a)  for employees working at 43700 Bermont Road Punta Gorda (FL) doing business as Sill Farms LLC.  Employees were exposed to injuries to unguarded rollers on the production line while grading and sorting potatoes, as observed on or about April 11, 2013.     (b) for employees working at 43700 Bermont Road Punta Gorda (FL) doing business as Sill Farms LLC. Employees in the potato washing area were exposed to injuries to unguarded rollers while sitting on the bench to put on "Galoshes" , on or about April 11, 2013.

Employees were exposed to injuries from an unguarded belt located in the center of the potato grading/sorting line in the Production Area, as observed on April 11, 2013.
