29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. 1) Walton on the Chattahoochee Apartments (Building 2000) - Employees were installing roof shingles about 22 to 25 feet high on a 6 in 12 slope without tying off with conventional fall protection. Employees were wearing safety harnesses but were not tied off on the roof. 2) Walton on the Chattahoochee Apartments (Building 3700) - Employees were installing roof shingles about 17 to 20 feet high on a pitch roof ranging from a 4 in 12 to 8 in 12 slope without being tied off with conventional fall protection. Employees were wearing safety harnesses but were not tied off on the roof. Employees were exposed to a fall hazards.
