29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: a) Building D first floor deck: On April 4, 2013 and at times prior thereto, an employee performed framing activities which included laying the deck, without a fall protection system in place. b) Building D first floor deck: On April 4, 2013 and at times prior thereto, an employee performing framing activities who wore a personal fall arrest system was not fully protected from the fall hazards. The fall protection system in use was not properly maintained in that the anchor point was not relocated and the lanyard adjusted as the deck work progressed forward. Note) Abatement certification IS required for this item.
