29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.     (a)  Northeast Corner of Mezzanine, on or about April 10, 2013, and at times prior thereto, employees working on ventilation system were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 8 feet from the Mezzanine to the concrete below.       (b)  Southeast side of Mezzanine, on or about April 10, 2013, and at times prior thereto, employees working on ventilation system were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 8 feet from the Mezzanine to the concrete below.       Note:  Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item.     The employer, JM Mechanical, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313350340, citation number 1, item number 1b and was affirmed as a final order on 12/23/2009, with respect to a workplace located at 1670 N. McGuire Road, Post Falls, Idaho 83854.
