On or about April 15, 2013 - at the above addressed jobsite, an employee using a pneumatic nail gun to perform roofing operations did not wear safety glasses, thereby exposing employees to the eye injuries.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a. On or about April 15, 2013 - at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing roofing operations on various roof elevations approximately eight (8) feet six (6) inches and thirteen (13) feet above the ground were not protected from falls, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards. KEM-STOCH CONSTRUCTION, INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 1926.501(b)(13), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 314174129, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON APRIL 14, 2010 WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 1216 N. KENILWORTH AVE., OAK PARK, IL 60302.
