29 CFR 1910.157(e)(2): Portable fire extinguishers were not visually inspected at least monthly: a) At the facility, where employees would be expected to fight incipient stage fires, fire extinguishers located in the government owned vehicles were not inspected on a monthly basis. The Natural Resources Conservation Service was previously cited for a violation of this standard which was contained in OSHA inspection no. 309096907, citation no. 1, item no. 1b, issued on February 08, 2010 with respect to a workplace at Lynden, WA.
