One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: In the following instances, employees were exposed to inrunning nip points and rotating parts: 1. Extruder 13 Production Cell - The Dietze-Schell Winder did not have the two mandrel spinner ends guarded. 2. Sima Area- The two rolls for the Sima Twister Capstan were not guarded.
