29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. (a) W.E. O'Neil at 4040 Byrd Dr., Loveland, Colorado 80538: On and before April 4, 2013 the controlling employer did not ensure employees were protected from injury, in that an employee engaged in roofing work on the flat roof of a commercial building was exposed to a fall of approximately 20-21 feet without the use of an adequate fall protection system.
