On or about April 18, 2013, on the roof, the employer did not ensure an employee using a pneumatic nail gun was protected by the use of protective eyewear.  The employee actively used the pneumatic nail gun on the day of this inspection while installing roof shingles on the building.  This condition exposed the employee to serious eye injuries.
