29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  a) On and before 4/6/13, employees were working on a 9:12 pitch main church roof with an eave edge on the west side greater than eighteen (18) feet above compacted surface without utilizing fall protection equipment.  b) On and before 4/6/13, employees were working on the roof of an addition on the north side of a church which had 9:12 pitch and an eave edge nine and one half (9.5) feet above compacted surface without utilizing fall protection equipment.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
