29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: (a) McCorkle Machine and Engineering: Maintenance employees perform maintenance and service on machinery such as, but not limited to the Union Horizontal Boring machine, 380 volt, located in Bay 3, requires the control of hazardous energy by locking out the equipment. The employer has not conducted a periodic inspection of the energy control procedures, as determined on or about 04/23/2013. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
