29 CFR 1910.178(a)(6): The user shall see that all nameplates and markings are in place and are maintained in a legible condition. Maintenance Shop - The Toyota forklift truck's manufacturer's nameplate was partially illegible in that the nomemclature terms had worn off leaving only the actual numbers devoid of information as to what the numbers mean.
