This violation occurred on April 23, 2013, when employees worked near unprotected edges more than 10 feet above the ground without fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(ii): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with a stairrail system along each unprotected side or edge. This violation occurred on April 23, 2013, when employees used the stairs to gain access to the 2nd floor. Employees were exposed to falls of approximately 9 feet from the landing to the 1st floor.
