29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(2)(i): Engineering and work practice controls were not used to eliminate or minimize employees exposure to bloodborne pathogens: (a) Brookstone Ambulatory Surgery Center- The syringes, scalpels, and some of the IVs used at the facility were not equipped with engineered sharps protection exposing employees to the increased risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens due to contaminated needle sticks and other percutaneous injuries.
