29 CFR 1926.501(b)(2)(i): Employees who are constructing a leading edge 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about April 29, 2013, and times prior thereto, two employees were observed constructing a leading edge on a low pitch roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels without using any fall protection system. These conditions exposed employees to fall hazards.
