29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system:       (a)  Advanced Exteriors @ 1408-1410 Elizabeth Street, Denver, CO: On or about April 30th, 2013, the controlling employer in charge of the work-site did not ensure employees working for a sub-contractor were using appropriate fall protection.  As a result, employees removing clay roof tiles were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 28 feet.     Advanced Exteriors was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and health standard or its equivalent standard CFR 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314659533 , citation number 1, item number 2, issued on October 21, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 8050 Decatur Street, Westminster, CO.     Abatement Note:  Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (See enclosed "Sample Abatement-Certification Letter").
