29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use.  a). Waste Water Treatment Area- On or about 1 May 2013, the emergency eyewash/shower station was not located immediately adjacent to the work platform where the employees are exposed to sulfuric acid. The employees would have to travel approximately 25 feet that includes descending two stairways. Furthermore, the station was not in suitable condition in which the dust caps were damaged and not placed on the spray heads, thus exposing employees to hazards associated with sulfuric acid.

Pallet Building and Packing Area- On or about 1 May 2013, there was a portable fire extinguisher not mounted, thus exposing employees to fire hazards.    b). Pallet Building and Packing Area- On or about 1 May 2013, there was a portable fire extinguisher not easily accessible in which material handling equipment such as pallets were placed in front of it, thus exposing employees to fire hazards.

Fabrication Department Area- On or about 2 May 2013, there was a plastic container that contained hydraulic oil  that was not labeled, tagged, or marked with its contents and other hazard information, thus exposing employees to chemical hazards.    b). Fabrication Department Area- On or about 2 May 2013, there was a plastic spray bottle that contained detergent that was not labeled, tagged, or marked with its contents and other hazard information, thus exposing employees to chemical hazards.
