29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement:     a)  House Foundation Wall Footings - Concrete workers were exposed to an impalement hazard from 5/8 inch rebar that was not covered or otherwise protected and projected (vertically) above concrete footings 30 to 45 inches, on or about 04/15/2013.      Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.     Pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's Multi-Employer Work site policy, this employer is considered the controlling employer.
