29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point of operation guards were not designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of their body in the danger zone during the operating cycle: a. The point of operation was not adequately guarded on the Prussiani Champion 5 Saw as the laser was not operational leaving access to the point of operation unguarded. The laser is located in front of the machine, and it would stop the machine if the beam were broken. b. The point of operation was not adequately guarded on the Prussiani Energia CNC Router as the guards were not closed while the machine was in operation nor were the guards interlocked to prevent entry into the point of operation while the machine was in operation. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
