29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i): The employer did not comply a list of the hazardous chemicals known to be present using a product identifier that was referenced on the appropriate safety data sheet.  a) On or about May 7, 2013, at the VA Medical Center located at 1030 Jefferson Ave, Memphis, TN, on the Admin Building 2nd Floor Nursing Administration Area Remodel Project, employees were exposed to Klean Strip Stripper, Flux, and Oatey No 5 Lead Free Solder Paste which are covered by the hazard communication standard and were not provided access to a list of hazardous materials known to be present at the site.  Without proper information on hazardous materials, employees could mis-handle hazardous materials and expose themselves to bodily injury and/or disease, allergic reactions, and various irritations both internal and external.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
