Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a) Back side of the house: On or about May 9, 2013 and at times prior; the employer did not ensure a fall protection method was implemented and/or used while an employee was working at the roof area (installing vinyl siding) which exposed the employee to falls of 18 feet from the eave to the ground below.
