Solis Brothers Corp was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 724602, Serious citation number 01, item number 001, issued on December 19, 2012, and was affirmed as a final order on January 22, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 3749 Chasing Falls, Jacksonville, Florida. 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a. On or about May 8, 2013, on the 6:12 pitch roof above the garage, an employee installing roof sheathing was exposed to an 8 feet fall hazard, in that he was not protected by a fall protection system. b. On or about May 8, 2013, on the 6:12 pitch roof above the second floor, an employee installing roof sheathing was exposed to a 20 feet fall hazard, in that he was not protected by a fall protection system.
