29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns: a) 2nd Street and Madison Avenue, Lakewood Township, NJ 08701: On or about May 10, 2013, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while cleaning the worksite in the immediate vicinity of an excavator. The employees were not wearing hard hats. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
