29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Rework, on or about 6/27/13: Lathe #570 was not proivded with a guard that adequately covered the rotating chuck. b) Ball Lap Area, on or about 6/27/13: Guards were not provided over the rotating parts on the Sunbeam blenders. c) Tool Room, on or about 6/27/13: Belt sander was not provided with guarding at the nip points where the belt and roller meet.
