29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Employees on scaffolds more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level by fall protection established in paragraphs (g)(1)(i)-(vii) of this section: For the OP Construction Contractors, Inc. worksite at 11062 International Dr., Orlando, FL, as observed on or about 05/14/2013, a) Employees were exposed to a fall from a scaffold side bracket platform onto dirt below. Employees were working at the scaffold edge and exposed to a 12-13 ft. fall. b) Employees were exposed to a 12-13 ft. fall onto the ground while walking up and down a scaffold platform which had missing guardrails on its outer side.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. For the OP Construction Contractors, Inc. worksite at 11062 International Dr., Orlando, FL, as observed on or about 05/14/2013, a) Employees were exposed to a fall from the top of a block wall. Employees were working off of the bock wall installing a wooden piece at the corner of the building and were exposed to a fall hazard of 12-13 ft.
