29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail and one stairrail system along each unprotected side or edge: a) Outside, in front of the building DD - on May 16, 2013, the employer did not provide a handrail or stair rail system along the unprotected sides of a stairway to prevent employees from falling to lower level, exposing employees up to 9-foot fall hazards. b) Inside building DD - on May 16, 2013, the employer did not provide a handrail or stair rail system along one side of the stairways to prevent employees from falling to the lower level, exposing employees up to 9-foot fall hazards. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED
