29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On May 15, 2013 at the job site located at 2900 Highway 7 in Blue Springs, MO-An employee was exposed to a fall hazard in that he was working directly on the edge of a flat roof without an approved form of fall protection. The distance from the edge of the roof and the ground was approximately 15 feet.
