OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees.      a)  Outside the transfer station, on or about May 22, 2013, and at times prior to, the employer failed to provide impact protection from vehicular traffic for an above ground 250-gallon diesel storage tank, thus exposing employees to struck-by and fire hazard.     Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to:    1.  Install barriers between vehicular traffic and the storage tank, where exposure to hazard will be eliminated according to OSHA and NFPA requirements or relocate to an area away from vehicle traffic.        ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED.

The employer had a fire extinguisher sign by the baler machine without fire extinguisher, exposing employees to fire hazards in case of fire emergency.
