29 CFR 1926.20 (b)(2) The employer did not develop an accident prevention program, that provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment, to be made by competent persons designated by the employer. a) Ocean Blvd & West End Avenue, Long Branch, NJ: The contractor did not act and or designate a competent person to identify and address the hazards of the job site such as but not limited to fall hazards for employees performing roofing work approximately 17 feet above the ground, observed on or about 5/23/13. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
