29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): The point of operation of machines whose operation exposed an employee to injury, was not guarded: On or about 05/20/2013, the employer did not ensure that a point of operation guard was installed on the Rockwell Drill Press, located near the North Wall of the Main Building adjacent to the eastmost overhead door. Sharp and hot, flying and rotating material can come into contact with employees operating teh drill press.

On or about 05/20/2013, the employer did not ensure that hand held powered grinders had guards installed over the abrassive wheels. By not having guards installed, the abrassive wheel, if it should break apart, can strike the operator or others nearby.
