29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On or about May 23, 2013; front roof area; employee was observed working on a 12:12 pitch roof installing a decorative dormer without a personal fall arrest system in place to protect him from falling 30-35 feet to ground level. b) On or about May 23, 2013; second floor front of building; employee was working at a wall opening without any personal fall arrest system in place to protect him from falling 20 feet ground level while handing material to a co-worker on the roof.
