29 CFR 1926.300(b)(1): When power operated tools are designed to accommodate guards, they were not equipped with such guards when in use. location: building A on or about: 5/28/13 a) An employee was operating a Ridgid 300 pipe threader. The threader did not have an operable foot pedal. NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
