This violation was most recently observed on May 31, 2013 at the worksite located at 1900 Northern Boulevard in Manhasset, NY where an employee, working on the first and second levels of the northeast scaffold, was exposed to being struck by 5-gallon buckets of stucco that could fall from the upper levels of the scaffold. To abate this violation, the employer must ensure that toe boards, screens, guardrail systems, debris nets, catch platforms, or canopies are installed to protect employees, working from scaffolds, from being struck by falling objects.
