29 CFR 1926.352(c): Welding, cutting, or heating was done where the application of flammable paints, or the presence of other flammable compounds, or heavy dust concentrations created a hazard: a) 623 Case Road, Neshanic Station, NJ 08853- Employees were exposed to fire/explosion hazards while performing pre-heating operations, in preperation for welding, on a 30" natural gas pipeline that had not been cleared of all flammable/explosive materials and/or vapors. Condition occurred on/or about May 30, 2013.

29 CFR 1926.352(i): Drums containers, or hollow structures which have contained toxic or flammable substances were not, before welding, cutting, or heating is undertaken on them, either filled with water or thoroughly cleaned of such substances and ventilated and tested. For welding, cutting and heating on steel pipelines containing natural gas, the pertinent portions of regulations issued by the Department of Transportation, Office of Pipeline Safety, 49 CFR Part 192, Minimum Federal Safety Standards for Gas Pipelines, shall apply: a) 623 Case Road, Neshanic Station, NJ 08853- Employees were exposed to fire/explosion hazards while performing pre-heating operations, in preperation for welding, on a 30" natural gas pipeline that had not been cleared of all flammable/explosive materials and/or vapors. Condition occurred on/or about May 30, 2013.
