29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) Roof of structure: On or about May 30, 2013, employees observed involved in sheathing a roof without any means of fall protection and exposed to fall hazards at various ranging heights from 10 feet up to 18 feet on a residential job. Note: Abatement documentation and certification ARE required for this item. Ben Cicak Dba Custom Framing was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) or its equivalent standard that was contained in OSHA Inspection #625298 Citation # 1 Item 1a, and was affirmed as a final order on November 15, 2012, with respect to the work site at 209 Meadow Lake Ct., McCall, Idaho.
