29 CFR 1910.132(f)(1)(v): The employer did not provide training to each employee who is required by this section to use personal protective equipment (PPE). Each such employee was not trained to know at least the proper care, maintenance, useful life and disposal of the PPE.    a. Raw Meat Processing Room and Freezers - The employer did not provide temporary employees with training on the inspection and maintenance of their slip-resistant protective footwear.  Temporary employees have sustained slips on the wet floors.  Inspection and maintenance is part of any effective program.   Footwear should be checked for the presence of liquid contaminants or solid matter wedged in tread patterns.  This can reduce slip-resistant properties. Observed On or About June 18, 2013
