29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement At 10000 Natural Bridge Rd., where the employer conducted construction of a four story hotel building, 12-four inch tall rebar metals protruding on three concrete platforms where the portachere is to be located were not covered. The uncovered rebars contributed to impailment hazards.
