29 CFR 1910.67(c)(2)(v): A body belt was not worn and a lanyard was not attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift: Fadness Electric LLC, at 303 W County Road 74, Wellington, CO: On 6/6/13 Fadness Electric LLC did not ensure that a body belt was worn and a lanyard was attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift. One employee of Fadness Electric LLC was performing maintenance upon an electric hoist motor of the west overhead crane of Obermeyer Hydro Inc. The employee was working in the basket of a Genie Lift model S40 boom aerial lift. The employer did not ensure that the employee was wearing a body harness and did not ensure that a lanyard was attached to the basket while working in the aerial lift. This condition exposed the employee to an approximate twenty foot fall hazard.
