29 CFR 1910.178(l): Operators were not trained in the safe operation of powered industrial trucks: At the time of the inspection, employees operating the skid steer loaders, loaders equipped with forks, mobile cranes equipped with grapples, and mobile crane equiped with magnet, had not received machine specific training and had not been certified that they were designated to operate each piece of equipment. Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation. The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful. The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citations.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: At the time of the inspection, the vertcal baler was operated without the top door which was designed as a guard to prevent employee exposure to the point of operation of the baler.
