29 CFR 1910.22(b)(1): Aisles and passageways were not kept clear and in good repair, with no obstruction across or in aisles that could create a hazard. a) Romerovski Corp. Roselle Park work site - Warehouse: The warehouse floor was not maintained and kept clear of clothes and damaged large metal floor sheets which could cause hazards where mechanical handling equipment are used. The floor boards are in disrepair and can cause possible trip hazards or accidents with the forklift equipment. Condition noted on or about 6/11/2013.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operators and other employees from the hazard created by moving conveyors: a) Romerovski Corp. Roselle Park work site - Warehouse Baler area (Consolidated Equipment bailers Model number DHW-3CHD): The balers and conveyor systems located from floor level to approximately 10 ft. high are not provided with adequate guarding to prevent employees from falling through the openings and/or stop the conveyor belt in the event that the conveyor inadvertently starts or is tripped by another employee. Guards such as but not limited to traditional guarding, emergency trip wires and/or standard guardrails can be used to guard the equipment. Condition noted on or about 6/11/2013. Reference: ASME B20.1 - 2012 - Safety Standard for Conveyors and Related Equipment Sect 6.6 Inclined Reciprocating Conveyors 6.6.2 Guarding Item (d) states; "Where the application requires that personnel walk onto the carrier to load or unload material, the carrier shall be provided with standard railings, snap chains, or equivalent, across the loading/ unloading side(s)..."
