29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. This violation was observed on June 7, 2013 at the American Samoa Development Bank job site; where at least two employees 11 feet above the ground were not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Paramount Builders, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 107636, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 11, 2012 with respect to a workplace located next to the Legislature Building in Fagatogo, American Samoa.
