29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, or an alternative fall protection measure that meets a provision described in paragraph (b) of 29 CFR 1926.501. a) Jobsite: Fifth level. On or about 6/12/13, no conventional or alternative means of fall protection was used to protect employees from falling off the unprotected open sides and edges on the fifth level of the residential construction building. The employees were performing framing operations approximately 40 feet above ground level. Professor's Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314235284, citation number 1, item number 1a, and was affirmed as a final order on 9/23/11, with respect to a workplace located at 3rd and Christian Streets, Philadelphia, PA.
