29 CFR 1926.200(g)(2): Traffic control signs or devices used for protection of construction workers did not conform to Part VI of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD"), 1988 Edition, Revision 3, September 3, 1993, FHWA-SA-94-027 or Part VI of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, millennium Edition, December 2000, FHWA. a) On or about June 19, 2013, S & K Excavating & Trucking, Inc. did not conform to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Millennium Edition, Section 6H.14 when employees hand signaled motor traffic in and near the traveled way of IL RT 126 at Ridge Road without warning approaching road users of flaggers in the temporary work zone. b) On June 20, 2013, S & K Excavating & Trucking, Inc. did not conform to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Millennium Edition, Section 6H.14 when employees hand signaled motor traffic in and near the traveled way of IL TR 126 at Ridge Road without warning approaching road users of flaggers in the temporary work zone. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
